Transport For London (TFL) and The Association of Illustrators Exhibition
'London Stories'
London Transport Museum, Covent GardenĀ 14/2/2014 - 6/4/2014
Across the ages, London has produced and inspired countless stories. Fictitious and real characters and events in this amazing city have always held fascination, from anecdotal urban myths to grand tales of historic legend. The shortlisted illustrations celebrate a vibrant, multi-layered London - urban myths, historic events, remarkable characters and London's animal population.
Shortlisted and exhibited entry: 'Down to a Sunless Sea' illustrating a short story by Neil Gaiman, first published in The Guardian 2013.
With thanks to the National Maritime Museum for permission to use the archive image of Rotherhithe Docks in the original artwork.
